We are looking for several Editorial Assistants to help collect and synthesize local travel knowledge from around the world to generate insightful, encyclopedic guides and tools for a luxury travel recommendation site.

This site will be _the_ go-to source for how best to travel, highlighting everything from the hottest destinations to the most coveted hotels, restaurants and more.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Help collect and synthesize local travel knowledge from around the world to generate insightful recommendations, guides and lists.
  • Work with a team of content editors to produce accurate, engaging travel guides, recommendations and servicedriven articles designed to educate, inform and enhance audience engagement.
  • Interview local destination experts worldwide to get local insight, compelling quotes and the most uptodate information.
  • Conduct additional internet background research.
  • Transcribe interviews and extract most relevant and compelling details.
  • Write, edit and perform data entry as needed.
  • Factcheck travel guides and recommendations on a routine, ongoing basis.
  • Upload content on to our CMS platform

Qualifications

  • College or university degree in journalism, or working towards a degree or diploma.
  • Extensive experience interviewing sources for digital and print articles.
  • Proven expertise in researching and fact checking.
  • Published clippings demonstrating exceptional storytelling.
  • Strong attention to detail and superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to manage deadlines in a fastpaced, constantly changing workplace.
