MILLET, AB DISABILTY SUPPORT WORKER

MUST DRIVE
EVENING and WEEKEND SHIFTS


Duties:


  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities
  • Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected and upheld
  • Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Implement and follow established systems and protocols for documentation and reporting
  • Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed
  • Provide social work support and guidance to residents

Skills:


  • First aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals with disabilities
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Experience in childcare or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
