Computer Technician, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The current rate of pay is $30.58.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 education supplemented by:
CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCSA certifications or comparable experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of personal computers in a networked environment; two years postsecondary education; combinations of applicable education (and experience/training based on this education) may include diploma and/or bachelors work at accredited post-secondary institutions with a focus on Computer Science; minimum of three years current experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of personal computers in a networked environment; thorough knowledge of

a variety of electronic tools and equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of personal computers in a networked environment; knowledge of current operation and networking systems, networking technologies and protocols, and software installation and maintenance; knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the support and use of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Windows; operating systems, Microsoft Windows Server operating system, and Microsoft Active Directory; valid Class 5 B.C.

driver's license and license appropriate to the type of equipment/vehicle being operated and a personal vehicle foruse on the job; meets the physical requirements of the position; ability to work independently and as a member of a team; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
