In your role, working closely with the finance team and other stakeholders, you will lead a team responsible for the development and the implementation of a profitability improvement plan for the Challenger and Global aircraft jet families.

Your team understands the actual profit margin structure and the profitability financial forecast of the upcoming years.

Your team is responsible to organize workshops with engineering, industrialization, methods and supply chain, including external suppliers, to identify potential cost reduction initiatives.

You will evaluate the cost reduction workshop ideas, prepare business cases and present your projects to the change board to obtain project approvals.

Once the projects are approved, you will follow their implementation and must ensure that the planned benefits are materialized.

In your role, you will, as a member of the Bombardier Management team:

Lead the Programs Profitability team;
Work closely with finance and other stakeholders to develop a strategic plan targeting, longerterm, the improvement of the profitability;
Analyze the Unit Cost of the Challenger and Global aircraft, including the cost of the purchased components (BOM) and manufacturing hours;
Organize workshops with the stakeholders and external suppliers to identify cost reduction initiatives;
Develop and manage strategies, schedules and budgets for your project portfolio;
Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress and prepare status reports;
Day to day leadership of the crossfunctional team in achieving the program profitability objectives;
Present project schedules, business cases and updates at regular reviews with senior management;
Be responsible for the employee performance management program (PMP) completion and employee communications;
Maintain the key technical and managerial competence of all staff;
Support the employees to reach their business and professional development goals.

Qualifications

You hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or related field
You have a strong financial acumen and understanding of enterprise budgeting process
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in management, business development, and/or strategic planning
You have experience in project management as well as knowledge of aircraft development cycle.
You have good presentation skills and are attentive to details.
You have excellent bilingual oral and written communication skills
You have both strong organizational and leadership skills
You have logical and flexible mindsets, show initiatives, and demonstrate overview/detailed approaches.
