is actively seeking a
Scheduler/ Data Analyst to join our team at the
Mississauga Campus located inside Square One Mall.



Primary Purpose:


The main purpose of the Scheduler/ Data Analyst is to create, maintain, and analyze a variety of schedules including instructor, room, and intake schedules.

The Scheduler/ Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring resources are optimized.

The Scheduler/ Data Analyst will extract and analyze data to create reports required to operate an effective and efficient campus.


The Scheduler/ Data Analyst will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build, maintain, and optimize the variety of schedules, using the College Administration Systems (XCAS).
  • Maintain and update scheduling summaries in Excel.
  • Collaborate with Campus Directors and Education Managers to solve scheduling room and capacity conflicts.
  • Maintain Student Web view access date release restrictions in accordance with the annual academic calendar.
  • Assist with long term scheduling and enrolment capacity planning.
  • Support grade reporting, custom intakes, managing courses in XCAS, bulk student statuses, partner uploads, and data projects.
  • Complete Student Record updates and reconciliations
  • Setup up new programs and courses in XCAS.
  • Maintain and Update Book and Materials Listings for each program and course. Review for accuracy and reconcile booklists.
  • Extract, analyze, format, and present data from the XCAS using Excel.
  • Analyze and compare data regarding pass/fail/withdrawal rates.
  • Prepare reports and executive summaries for submission for consideration of action.
  • Other responsibilities as required, and which are in the best interests of the College.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Mathematics, Engineering, or Science.

Advanced knowledge of
MS Excel & Word is required.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and SQL.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with scheduling concepts.
  • Ability to give a precise, timely, and accurate presentation of data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Hours of Work:

Hours of work for this position will be 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.


Start Date:

The start date for this position is
immediate.


Location:

This position will be
hybrid. 80% of the role will be remote and about 20% of the role in-person in Mississauga.
