WARRANTY INSPECTOR
between sites may be required, in which case a mileage claim can be submitted.

Reporting to the Warranty Foreman, the Warranty Inspector will:

Assess warranty claim forms as scheduled by the warranty coordinator
Provide information to homeowners regarding the Tarion warranty coverage
Ensure paperwork, photos and reports are completed and filed electronically in a timely manner
Assess emergency calls or other items as scheduled by the warranty coordinator
Designate repairs to the appropriate party (trade or technician)
Write out scope of work for repairs to ensure all information is communicated in detail
Work with the construction team and trade partners as needed to ensure a positive customer experience
Additional tasks may be assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Understanding of new home construction terminology and the Ontario Building Code is essential
Previous experience in new home warranty and understanding of the Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines would be an asset
Proficiency in English
Must be able to use computer technology to upload photos and written reports
Excellent customer service skills in dealing with homeowners
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a positive manner
Punctual, reliable, with an excellent work ethic is paramount
