    The successful candidate will join the ICBC Corporate Law Team. This team plays an integral part in helping the business remove barriers to innovation. You will work in a group of 10 creative solicitors (each with specific legal expertise). You will primarily contribute to the team with your commercial & technology law expertise.
    Drafting and negotiating technology (and other) commercial agreements.
    Advising on a wide variety of matters requiring creative legal solutions.
    Providing simple, straightforward and knowledgeable legal advice. Helping the corporate law team with efficiency initiatives.
    Providing training to colleagues and business clients.
    Advising on legal developments and legislative changes.
    Advising on company policies.

    Experience as a commercial or technology solicitor at a top tier law firm (see below), Counsel II (3-6 years), Counsel III (6-13 years) and Counsel IV (13+ years).

    B/JD or equivalent (and an active membership at the Law Society of British Columbia).

    Resident - you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled workdays.

    Hybrid - you will work a minimum of 8 days per month at your primary in-office headquarters (typically 2 days per week).

    The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.

    Hybrid 10 - you will work a minimum of 10 days per month at your primary in-office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week).

    The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.

    Mobile - you will work remotely or in the field on scheduled workdays within British Columbia, with the requirement to be at your primary on-site headquarters by exception only.
