Description

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • To be responsible for the
    closing functions of the department;
  • To produce quality bread and pizza products following standard fabricating and finishing procedures according to production lists;
  • To be responsible for the full preparation and stocking of the Bread and Pizza department for evening and next day business;
  • To effectively prepare pizzas and breads by following production planners and recipe cards to Company standards
  • To ensure all merchandised product meets the appearance and quality requirements;
  • To ensure that employees are maintaining the quality of production and following specifications
  • To delegate and assign tasks to employees according to the needs of the business;
  • To oversee and ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer orders (instore and over the phone)
  • To serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner;
  • To respond to any customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times;
  • To assist the department manager in the training and direction of part time staff;
  • To ensure the maintenance of equipment and the safety and sanitation of the production and back room areas, as per Company Policy;
  • To maintain a high regard for Food Safety;
  • Responsible to ensure product is received and stored according to Company standards;
  • To maintain the department in the absence of the department manager;
  • To perform other duties, as required.

The ability to work 40 hours per week consisting of evening/closing shifts between Monday and Friday;:

  • A minimum of three (3) years food preparation experience;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment;
  • Must possess excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Excellent leadership capabilities.
