Job Purpose and ImpactThe Advisory Lead, Eastern Prairies will lead, implement and execute all sales strategy and tactics within an area. In this role, you will use your interpersonal skills to provide direction to supervisors and frontline sales workforce professionals.
You will lead all aspects of grain advisory services activities for a portfolio of products or services within Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
This role is an active member of the regional leadership team.Evaluate market potential and sales status.
Plan, organize and set strategic direction for our grain advisory services portfolio.
Plan and organize sales programs, including sales methodologies, incentives, special campaigns and professional training for personnel.
Gain in depth general industry as well as deep local market knowledge.
Establish budget and targets for the grain advisory portfolio.
Collaborate with the regional leadership team on cross functional initiatives to drive customer value and experience.
Supervise the daily sales activities, executing and deploying the sales plans, vision and goals.
Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Minimum Qualifications
Diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Possess a valid Canadian Full Class 5 Driver's Licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment
Ability to travel up to 25% within Saskatchewan and Manitoba
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Preferred Qualifications
Two years of supervisory experience
Previous experience within a grain or grain advisory leadership role
Consulting services or entrepreneurial experience
