What will you do?

  • Provide proactive and consistent information to the advisors on a regular basis.
  • Prompt handling of administrative and evidence requirements including placing orders and following up to expedite the underwriting requirements so that the policy can be issued.
  • Provide a prompt and accurate production of the policy contract and include the invoice prior to mailing to the advisor or back office.
  • It is essential to build productive business relationships with third party distribution partners, Advisors and back office staff. Finding creative solutions that work for the Advisor, the client and Sunlife are imperative to our business.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and Frenchspeaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills both oral and written
  • Able to prioritize and handle a variety of responsibilities daily
  • Proven ability to work well in a fastpaced, multitasking team environment
  • Analytical skills with strong mathematical aptitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to handle stress and work within tight deadlines
  • Results oriented works toward ensuring daily personal and team production targets are met
  • Process improvement driven and skill in problem solving
  • Proven time management and organization skills
  • Strong working knowledge of computer systems and software
  • Positive, enthusiastic, innovative

Assets:


  • Extensive knowledge of retail life insurance products and systems (Ingenium, MLIF, CSW)
  • Confident level of knowledge of Excel, Word, MS Access, PowerPoint

Notes/Unique Requirements:


  • Depending on work volumes, overtime will be required
  • Vacation time may be limited during peak periods to ensure adequate coverage is maintained
