We're seeking a talented Renovation Technician to join our Calgary community.

As a Renovation Technician you will be responsible for general renovations and repairs, and will assist the building operations team.

    Major Responsibilities
  • Work together with the maintenance team to achieve project and service objectives
  • Maintain cleanliness of exterior and interior public spaces throughout the portfolio
  • Perform tasks in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities that address building and client issues (e.g. painting, drywall repairs, door repairs, minor plumbing, counter top replacements, minor moves, etc.)
  • Respond immediately to emergencies both during regular working hours and after hours
  • Assist with completing preventive maintenance in accordance with Edon's Preventive Maintenance Program
  • Portray a favourable image of the organization as a frontline contact with clients/tenants and subcontractors

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years previous commercial renovation experience considered an asset
  • Completed Grade 12 education
  • Owns basic hand and power tools
  • Able to use power tools and complete building renovations
  • Strong customer care and communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, lifting items, etc.
