What are our expectations


As a quality Inspector you will be part of a team that performs inspections on aerospace parts and provide technical/administrative support to the Quality function, which encompasses Product Integrity and Quality Control.


It's an 24/7 operation, and the job should be done on rotation basis (
Day Shift: 6:30 to 15:00 /
Evening Shift: 3:00 to 23:30 /
Night Shift: 23:30 to 6:30) All shifts are 8hrs.


Level of Responsibility:

  • Under mínimal supervision, performs substantially varied and complex tasks.
  • Applies advanced skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area.
  • Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position.
  • Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
  • Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.
  • An orient, trains, assign and checks the work of other employees.

What your day to day will look like

  • Perform Receiving inspection activities per applicable Inspection plan instructions.
  • Perform containment activities following escapes and per Reinspection order instructions.
  • Release spare parts under TCCA /FAA/EASA regulation.
  • Perform commercial audits.
  • Address customer complaints and take appropriate actions.
  • Address issues at receiving inspection.
  • Inspection of parts for conformities
- paperwork verification

  • Assisting the service provider with any quality related questions
  • Raising Quality Notifications for nonconformities
  • Process auditing
  • Revising and reprinting certificates
  • Support Customer queries
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace

The tools you need to be successful:

Must haves:

  • College diploma in aviation with 2 to 3 years experience in Quality Inspection.
  • Autonomy and accountability for results.
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office 365 (excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English language (written and spoken)
Assets

  • Experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of drawing interpretations and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Understanding of French language
