What you will do:


  • Reporting to the Manager, Student Records, the Student Records Coordinator, Retention & Enrolment supports the achievement of the institution's retention and enrolment plans as defined by the Strategic Enrolment Management framework for continuing Domestic and International students.
issues are referred to the Student Records Coordinator for clarity and direction. The incumbent provides information and communicates with students regarding a broad range of related questions and/or topics. This position provides leadership and training to the Student Records Specialists and Part

  • Time Records staff as well as support to the College's retention efforts by attending events and providing information.

What you bring to the role:

Education
The minimum level of formal education required for this position is a 3 year diploma/degree or equivalent in the following field(s) of study:
Business Administration Management, Accounting, Social Sciences, Arts, Education, Public Policy, or a related field.


Qualifications
A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required for the position.


Skills

  • The incumbent should demonstrate the following:
  • Strong judgement, analytical and problems solving skills
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes
  • Thorough knowledge of Humber's programs, policies and processes
  • Recent experience in a postsecondary Records role would be an asset
  • Leadership skills, along with the ability to work well independently and with others
  • Ability to train and motivate a team
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Office365 and the ability to develop proficiency within the student information system
  • Ability to work in a highly automated environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to respond with tact, discretion and professionalism
