Lonestar Lumber is one of Western Canada's leading pallet and wooden shipping material manufacturer's, and we're expanding

With a new building, and new machines, we are looking for production workers to join our team

We hire applicants of all backgrounds, races, sexualities, genders, etc.

We are looking for applicants for day shift

Day Shift:
Monday - Friday; 7:00AM - 3:30PM (8 hrs x 5 days/week)

Wages starting at $18 per hour, plus a possibility of commission.

Production Worker Duties:

Processing lumber by running boards through various types of saws to cut to correct lengths and thicknesses; restacking completed lumber
Use of automated assembly machines woodpecker, ripsaw, package saw, etc.
Use of hand tools specifically nail guns
Building pallets (or assisting builders)

Applicants must be able to:

Read specs and follow verbal instruction
Work individually or with others
Keep manual record of daily actions of each shift
Handle physical, repetitious work standing, bending, reaching, lifting, etc.

Other Information:

Steel toed boots, safety gloves, and safety glasses are mandatory; ears plugs are recommended. _As an attendance bonus, we provide employees with free gloves_. Safety glasses can be purchased from our office. Ear plugs are free. Alternatively, we have ear _muffs_ available for purchase
Weekend work is available
We provide a commission based on production rates over a pay period
Monthly pizza lunch
