Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Aquatech, isa supplier and distributor of specialized Dewatering and Pumping Equipment, including advanced Water Filtration and Treatment Equipment/Systems.


We are expanding our
Specialized Pumping Equipment
Products Division, focused on manufacturing, packaging and product distribution to partners throughout North America.


We are currently seeking a self-motivated, experienced
Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to fill a position that will be based in our
Vaughan, Ontario head office and facility.


Our products are designed for highest levels of performance, efficiency, and reliability, founded in principle with customer service, safety, environmental, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

Source, negotiate and manage key vendor agreements, procurement schedules and inventory levels aligned with forecasts and budgets, logistics, MRO as well as manufacturing and packaging agreements and coordination.


Tasks include (but not limited to):

  • Manage all key supply lines, partners and vendors accounts.
  • Manage schedule for forecast inventory supply of each product for external and internal customers/partners and sales teams to cover backlog.
  • Manage shipping and logistics, and any claims and reporting.
  • Responsible for managing and running physical inventories.
  • Manage and reconcile inventory discrepancies as required.
  • Manage quality control of all incoming and outgoing materials and liaise with vendors to ensure timely transactions.
  • Manage and oversee quality control in all manufactured products, through testing and PDI process.
  • Ensure shipping transactions are administrated live, and inventory properly reflects actual state and updated forecasts.
  • Logistics and material movement management
  • Manage MRO contracts and buying.
  • Analyse and manage stock requirements and inventory analysis.
  • Complete and fix issues pertaining to problems identified by Costing Analyst (work orders or purchase orders not issued, vendor pricing adjustments etc.).
  • Negotiate pricing and Implement cost saving measures in all areas of shipping, manufacturing, packaging, and scheduling and buying.
  • Raw material management.
  • Production schedule management.
  • Cost management and organization.
  • Monitor and resolve negative inventories in transit.
  • Work order management and ensuring all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the organization, such as sales, finance and operations, to ensure that procurement and supply chain activities are aligned with overall business objectives.

Job Requirements:


  • 35 years directly experience in rotating equipment manufacturing or packaging, supply chain management, procurement and/or materials management.
  • 35 years supervisory experience.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build a strong relationship with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ability to work in accordance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools.
  • Proven experience prioritizing and managing multiple assignments concurrently, performing well under pressure, and meeting deadlines, while ensuring acute attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary:
$95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
