Job Description:


As a Multi Area Security Manager your responsibilities include all Health & Safety and Security aspects for stores and offices in your assigned Areas.

You will work with succession planning to develop organizational talent. You will work cross functionally throughout the organization to support business partners and to help achieve our security goals.


This is a hybrid position with two days in office based in Montreal, QC within our Security function and reports to our North America Security Manager.


Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

  • Overview of necessary Health and Safety certifications for stores in assigned areas.
  • Analyze shrink results to identify opportunities and make actionable recommendations to improve results
  • Ensure the effective utilization of physical security controls to prevent and improve inventory shortage and ensure colleague health and safety
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business partners through fairness, trust, honesty and openness
  • In partnership with the Area Sales Manager manage local crisis situations when they arise
  • Ability to identify opportunities on a P&L and take appropriate actions to correct and achieve budget
  • Execute all required standard audits for stores and offices in your assigned areas
  • Analyze POS transaction data to identify fraud trends and formulate next steps
  • Take necessary action to interview dishonest colleagues in a timely manner to comply with all global expectations and legal standards
  • Conduct split point visits and provide relevant feedback to all stakeholders
  • When identifying potential fraud, work cross functionally with your Area Partners to align on the best outcome
  • Take the necessary partnerships with external vendors to ensure the stores receive quality service while remaining within budget
  • Partnership with Area Sales Managers & Area Teams to secure & promote a health and safety culture in stores
  • Support Area Human Resources & Store Management Teams to monitor the completion of all Health, Safety and Security related trainings in GROW (Learning Management System)
  • Partnership with Area Human Resources and Area Sales Managers to identify, develop and manage future security talent through succession planning
  • Coordinates and manages local crisis situations in partnership Area Sales Manager when they arise
  • Setting strategic plans to achieve H&M Security goals based on relevant KPI's.
  • Execute future initiatives and projects within your Areas with partnership of all stakeholders.
  • Responsible to acknowledge and process work order requests within a timely manner
  • Overview of cost performance within Areas based on actual vs budget including forecasting

Qualifications:


What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum of 1 year management experience in the Security/Loss Prevention industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Availability to respond during crisis situations after hours
  • Extreme organizational skills, leadership excellence and hyper responsiveness
  • A valid Canadian Driver's license is required
  • Required travel is up to 50% domestic travel and occasional international travel
