Description
Fibre Splicers - Outside Plant Technicians. We are looking for our Brampton area location.

Applicants must be able to provide;
-
skilled in outside plant fibre splicing (2 years telecommunications splicing experience):

  • Experience in multi-dwelling units is an asset
  • Must be able to work nights when required
  • Must be able to work oncall schedule when required (approx 3X per year)
  • Must be able to work up to 10 hour shifts per day plus travel time
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Good work ethic
  • Pass a criminal record check
  • A valid G driver's license in good standing
  • Experience to safely lift heavy objects and tools to perform a variety of tasks
  • Experience carrying and climbing an extension ladder
  • Experience working in confined spaces
  • Good organization skills
  • Work well individually and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and locations
  • Willingness to Travel as required
  • Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Must be willing to join Liuna Union 183

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $30.88 per hour
