Salary:
$60-80K based on experience

Specific Responsibilities:


  • Assists in business development efforts to include research and tracking upcoming opportunities
  • Deals will range from $20,000 $500,000
  • We work with different sectors, such as Public, Catholic and Private schools, Cities, Nature Centres, Zoos, Aquariums and Child Care Centres
  • Build and promote strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs
  • Meet or exceed sales requirements as determined by the sales plan
  • Administrative tasks include creation of estimates and processing orders
  • Must obtain customer and general industry knowledge
  • Must be able to provide accurate data entry and customer file/data management
  • Analyze data to monitor, direct and report on customer's performance
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to the customer
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Desired Skills and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Receptive to a combination of equivalent experience and education
  • Social media knowledge an asset
  • Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks on budget and on time
  • Ability to quickly gel with and support a growing team.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Suite
  • Knowledge of municipal or school board procurement processes is a plus
  • 2+ years related business experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills: written, oral and presentation
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Detailoriented, selfmotivator able to deliver high quality work with limited supervision
  • Ability to analyze sales and financial data and present findings
  • Successful previous experience in sales in the playground Industry or education sector
  • Comfortable working from home
