Your Impact:

We are looking for environmental professionals who have an interest in Project Management to join our amazing team of Project Managers at Jacobs.

Based in British Columbia or Alberta, you will support the management of projects, and be placed on a training track to manage your own projects related to environmental, regulatory, permitting, construction or maintenance for capital projects.

Working with senior Project Managers, you will be responsible for meeting internal and external client objectives and project-specific internal financial goals.

You will be challenged to support and build efficient delivery teams that produce high quality work and to develop client relationships that facilitate expanding the depth and breadth of our services.

All of this will be accomplished in a supportive team setting, with help and guidance from fellow Project Managers, operations mentors, client account managers, and talent supervisors.

Global technical practice leaders will assist you to bring the right tools and approaches and newest innovations to our clients.

You will work with a team of almost 200 natural and cultural resource professionals and planners, supporting projects throughout Western Canada.

Here's What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in an environmentalrelated field
Exposure to project management tasks (budget preparation & tracking, schedule, task management, team management) on environmental projects in British Columbia or Alberta
Experience in environmental consulting in western Canada
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excited to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
High attention to detail
Interest in inspiring and supporting the development of others through high quality delivery for our clients.

Ideally, you will also have:

Relevant experience working as a consultant on infrastructure projects in Western Canada
Knowledge of some provincial and federal environmental legislation and regulatory requirements in Western Canada
Some experience serving as assistant project manager, or project management of small projects
Technical writing skills
