The Opportunity

Midland Transport is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager based out of Quebec, supporting our Quebec region.

The Regional Sales Manager is a key member of the sales leadership team and will report into the Vice President of Sales.

What You Will Do:

Build, coach and lead Midland's Quebec sales team which consists of five Account Managers;
Ensure sales revenue and gross margin targets are achieved;
Achieve revenue plan for LTL, TL, Courier and Brokerage;
Maintain key customer relationships while developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company's customer base in Quebec;
Explore new markets, services and products and development of these opportunities for revenue growth;
Achieve required rate increases to improve revenue quality on a continuous basis;
Foster an environment of continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

Years of

Experience Required: 6-10 years' experience in the transportation/courier industry;

Education Required: Successful completion of postsecondary education, education in Sales and Marketing an asset;
Major account experience is an asset;
Sales management experience preferred;
Solid LTL, Truckload and Courier transportation knowledge and experience;
Highly motivated and results oriented individual;
Strong customer service skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Knowledge of transportation operations would be preferred.
