About the Role:

DMCL Chartered Professional Accountants is seeking an
Accounting Technician or
Bookkeeper to join our
Private Enterprise Group in our downtown Vancouver office.

In this role, you will support DMCL's partners and clients with your exceptional interpersonal and technical accounting skills.

Our private enterprise team is bursting with entrepreneurial spirit. They work side-by-side with our clients to navigate challenges and opportunities at every stage of their growth.

Whether it's assurance, tax or advisory services, our private enterprise team members are dedicated to understanding our clients' business and bringing new insights and strategies to help achieve their goals.

How you'll make a difference:

Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns;
Bookkeeping, accounting, compilation of financial statements, preparation of working paper files, and various other accounting assignments;
General client support and services.

Who you are:

Have a minimum of one year experience working in a bookkeeping focused role, public practice experience would be an asset;
Have experience with QuickBooks and Taxprep;
Detail oriented individual with superior organizational and analytical skills;
Have a proven ability to accept a broad range of responsibilities;
Results oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines;
Have an ability to work independently and in a team environment;
Have outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service;
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
