Windsor Arms Hotel is looking for an experienced
Breakfast Cook to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes.

In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the Hotel's specifications.

Must be available to work on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified to ensure consistency of product to guests.
  • Visually inspect, select and use only food items ideal for cooking in preparation of all menu items
  • Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience in fine dining restaurants.
  • Proven cooking experience
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and responsible

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
From $19.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • TORONTO, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Cooking: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
