This position will report to the corporate Director of IT and Technology and is available at any of our offices with the opportunity for

Responsibilities:


What your day will look like

Technology Envisioning (60%)

  • Liaise between and collaborate with consulting professionals, IT/technology staff and senior management on technology solutions and opportunities related to service and client engagements
  • Identify needs, compare solutions, pilot/test, and champion the appropriate implementation of client engagement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
  • Help keep the organization current and aware of technological innovation in the industry. Keep abreast of new trends and best practices and how they align to the stated objectives of the organization. Take initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity
  • Support technology advancement to drive strategic growth

Technology Planning and Implementation (37%)

  • Partner with internal IT professionals (Infrastructure/Operations and IT Solutions) to develop compatible, scalable, and supportable solutions
  • Lead strategic and operational aspects of client engagement technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships to empower client delivery teams to create better solutions
  • Manage and optimize client engagement software and infrastructure assets; create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence
  • Communicate, negotiate, and interact effectively with technology vendors, coordinate licensing and purchases
  • Ensure that technology strategy for the core business of consulting operations aligns with the financial performance of the organization. Participate in the budgeting processes throughout the year

Learning & Development (3%)

  • Commit to selfdevelopment and ongoing learning and professional development
  • Provide input to the career development of junior staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching, and mentoring

Qualifications:

What will you need to succeed

  • University education in a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • Familiar with managing and implementing technology at a companywide level
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Experience:


  • Minimum 7 years of experience providing technology consulting services as part of business transformation initiatives, ideally in an industry in which Dillon operates
  • Previous experience in a multidiscipline environment would be an asset
  • Experience with a range of technology solutions, including software, hardware, systems
  • Experience designing and delivering training to staff
