Your main responsibilities:

(In order of importance):


  • Draft internal and external press releases, prepare the employee newsletter, and curate content for internal TVs, Viva Engage and the intranet.
  • Create content for the Sandoz Canada LinkedIn page and monitor comments.
  • Check the website and coordinate any required updates.
  • Approve and share the daily press clippings, making sure that Meltwater, our media monitoring platform, is including the right search keywords.
  • Participate in strategic public relations plans, including stakeholder mapping (e.g., antibiotic resistance campaigns, Pharmacare, comprehensive biosimilars policy, etc.).
  • Prepare documentation and conduct the necessary followups to ensure patient group engagement.
  • Develop and update tools for key message tracking and positioning.
  • Prepare creative visuals and presentations aligned with brand image for internal and external audiences.
  • Assist the team in its proactive efforts to build relationships with the media and online influencers (bloggers) by preparing media lists, journalist/influencer contact sheets, sales pitches, etc.
  • Support internal event logistics.
  • Update mailing lists and prepare surveys and reports.
  • Coordinate the approval process for external communications in the FUSE system.
  • Take part in other Corporate Affairs team projects, as needed.

Essentials qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in communications, journalism, public relations, administration, political science, or another relevant field.
  • Experienced in office work (an asset).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to synthesize and analyze.
  • Highly skilled writer.
  • Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory. Due to the nature of our operations, oral and written fluency in English is required for regular communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally.
  • Able to organize and prioritize work.
  • Inquisitive and eager to learn.
  • Autonomous, meticulous and results oriented.
