Job description

  • Managing yard area in compliance with company's policies and vision
  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
  • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of all stocks.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
  • Ensuring a wellcoordinated reception of all materials, items, and products, and making sure they are sorted, labelled, and stored per company standards and policies
  • Ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all yard processes are running smoothly and promptly.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
  • Ensuring delivery deadlines and quality objectives are met

Requirements:


  • Proven work experience as a Yard Manager
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • Valid drivers' license.
  • Ability to operate forklift effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problemsolving skills.
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff

Salary:
$40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
