Description:


We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative who is great with people and strives to drive sales growth in our BC region.

Based out of our Surrey branch you will work to the following:


Accountabilities:


Account Management Activities:


  • In conjunction with the Regional Branch Manager, develop, evaluate and execute an annual sales plan for existing accounts and identify new growth opportunities for the territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our current customer base by providing exceptional customer communication, service and support.
  • Within the customer base foster and maintain longterm, trusted relationships with key account stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers.
  • Prospect qualified sales leads for your territory by using customer profiling tools and resources.
  • Grow our book of business through relationship development with new clients.
  • Working with the technical team develop solutions for customers using the resources available internally and from our large vendor base.
  • Coordinate with other members of the sales, supply chain, and head office team as needed to generate sales, ensure relevant products are available and provide the best customer experience possible in dealing with Sinclair Supply.
  • Educate customers on the full suite of Sinclair product and service offerings available through presentations, marketing material and proposals.
  • Ensure all required documentation is in place for new dealer agreements and all quotes are accurate.
  • Forecast and track client account metrics and proactively identify potential declining accounts.
  • Contributes information to sales and procurement strategies by evaluating current product results, identifying needs to be filled, monitoring competitive products, and analyzing and relaying customer reactions.

Customer Service Activities:


  • Positively and professionally represent Sinclair Supply to customers & suppliers.
  • Promptly respond to any customer concerns or disputes.
  • Collaborate with all internal departments toward achieving an exceptional customer experience.
  • Coordinate and participate in vendor training sessions for customers.

Reporting Activities:


  • Thoroughly and accurately track, document and report sales efforts.
  • Regularly review sales pipeline with Regional Branch Manager and Branch Managers within the region to collaborate on facilitating a successful customer experience.

Experience and Skill Requirements:


  • High School Diploma, postsecondary Education in Technical College, or Industry Trade School
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with outside sales (B2B), account management and business development.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel approximately 90% of the time within the assigned region.
  • Knowledge of products sold in HVACR Industry is preferred.
  • Established reputation for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Highly refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully managing the client lifecycle including prospecting, building and maintaining a business relationship built on exceptional customer service.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge and willingness to continually learn about new product offerings.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors and teammates.
  • Able to learn and operate the applicable software system (Epicor Eclipse Solar) used to process orders.
