Description
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to oversee all sales activity in Western Canada. Based in Surrey BC you will be working within the Lower Mainland and actively in the field.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of 9 direct reports as well as managing a number of high profile clients within the region.

This position reports to the Senior Director.

Travel 15-20%, or as required

Will have 9 direct reports in the region.


Responsibilities:


  • Directing and managing direct reports in activities related to sales performance.
  • Planning, organizing, and managing direct reports to ensure work is completed and consistent with the company's standards.
  • Establishing communications to verify and resolve customer and/or shipper complaints.
  • Collaborating with management and staff to formulate and implement salesrelated initiatives, including company revenue goals and customer service objectives.

Sales Manager Requirements:


  • At least 3 years experience as a sales manager in a similar industry.
  • Solid knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics including rates.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking skills and knowledge of analytics.
  • LTL 400 experience is preferred
  • Ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Good conflict resolution skills.

$100,000.00 per year
