IRISNDT has a permanent, full-time position open in our Edmonton, Alberta office for a shop attendant.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager you will have the following duties and responsibilities:


Job Duties:


  • Perform minor upkeep of fleet vehicles and complete company compliance audits.
  • Perform routine maintenance of the facility mechanical systems, company equipment, and conduct facility audits.
  • Assist Branch Manager with maintaining inventory of equipment, consumables, and facility supplies.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Support Branch Manager with customer service, shipping and receiving; and
  • Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to field technicians and customers.

Required Skills and Experience:


  • High School Diploma combined with relevant work experience.
  • Previous NDT experience would be considered an asset.
  • Must be able to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and vehicle to get to work.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift.
The regular schedule for this position will be Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week. Evening and weekend work may be required on rare occasions.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Health benefits that meet or exceed industry standards will be provided after a 3-month probationary period.


Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory. All potential employees will be required to complete a pre-employment fitness examination and an alcohol and drug screening.
