Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Quality Assurance & Food Safety, this role is primarily responsible for supporting a company-wide QA project.

This includes working with plants to help deliver established milestones, tracking progress of assigned tasks and overall timely execution of the project.

Key Accountabilities

Environmental monitoring program tracking and trending
Coordinating project activities and timelines with plant QA Managers
Standardizing sampling programs
Preparing standard operating procedures
Supporting development of reporting procedures
Working directly with the QA leadership team as well as plant QA Leadership
Weekly status reporting on key project milestones, team successes and project risks.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a College or University program in Food Science or a related field
Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Computer Literacy (intermediate MS Word, MS Excel)
Strong attention to detail
