Allied REIT is looking for anAssociate to join our Accounting and Finance team.

What will you do?:
- Support a variety of Corporate Accounting functions, including internal and external reporting.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare wire transfers.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and tax returns for nominee entities.
- Review the data integrity of lease agreements, amendments and other lease documentation.
- Interpret and abstract lease agreements, including clauses and options, to initiate the lease setup in Yardi.
- Support in special projects and financial analysis.
What are we looking for?:
- You are currently enrolled as a university student pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
- Strong interest in commercial real estate, accounting and finance.
- An assertive selfstarter with the ability to work independently or under supervision.
- Collaborative worker; effective member of a team; good teambuilding skills.
- Good judgment and decisionmaking skills; a problem solver.
- Demonstrates resilience, passion and commitment to deliver and be accountable for the results.
- Customer focus & customer serviceoriented.
- Analytical and employs the use of critical thinking skills.
- Effective verbal and oral communication.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
