Who are you?

Electromechanical Technician, reporting to the
Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for installing and repairing industrial electronic equipment including variable speed drives, PLC equipment, process control systems, and a wide variety of automated control systems ranging from simple on-off control to robotics.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for electrical mechanical repairs, installations and maintenance
  • Troubleshoots with production / engineering electrical programs (PLC)
  • Updating communication equipment for machinery
  • Repairs and installs PC boards
  • Responding to various maintenance requests
  • Works with sub contractors to maintain equipment
  • Making recommendations for new maintenance products and equipment as necessary

Requirements:


  • Experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing systems in day to day tasks for the job
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
  • Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner and be able to prioritize important work
  • Ability to communicate any issues or problems to upper management while also being able to work with other staff members to get a particular job completed
  • Ability to work in various different areas of the building and perform many different functions to keep the building in good standing order
  • Good Knowledge of CMMS maintenance software
  • Certification of First Aid training
  • Able to read and understand drawings and schematics
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices
  • Bilingual (French, English)

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
