A Day In The Life
Ensure Labour target rates are set and managed
Communicate with the project team on a daily basis
Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, external suppliers and customers
Identify potential conflicts and negotiate best solutions
Main point of contact for assigned scope of work
Take the lead on project kickoffs, hand offs and autopsy meetings with the project team
Work with Safety, Site Supervisor and Foreman to ensure all Safety measures are in place
Use our various internal operation programs (such as PIL & PFP)
Preplan the execution of projects and develop schedule with project team
Develop schedule of values
Develop, track and negotiate change orders
Responsible for time, cost and overall project performance

We We Are Seeking
Min. 5+ years' experience within a Project Manager Role in a commercial construction industry, particularly in curtain wall construction
Education in a civil engineering / building science program or a related educational field
Knowledge of the curtain wall/glazing industry is considered an asset
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS office package, including MS Project
Strong blueprint reading skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to multi task and work in a team environment
