Richelieu Hardware looking to fill a permanent full-time
Demand Planner position at our Ville St-Laurent offices.

Reporting to the supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the demand planning process for their portfolio.

This persin must establish a forecast of the monthly demand by product/warehouse based on the sales history and include the impacts of the Marketing/Sales business plans.

The person on this role will also be responsible for analyzing the feasibility of the various projects related to the supply chain.

More specifically, your main tasks will be:

Maintain and revise sales forecasts generated from sales history.
Develop demand plans for new product launches.
Execute corrective actions to update sales forecasts and resolve discrepancies between actual sales and forecasts.
Understand the consumer trend of the market and customers for the category of products he manages in order to develop his expertise relating to demand.
Ensure the maintenance and optimization of sales forecast parameters.
Address supply issues to the various stakeholders.
Develop the analysis and management tools needed to monitor the various projects.
Set up and maintain performance indicators.
Understand the reasons affecting performance indicators and work to implement corrective actions.
Exercise positive leadership in managing change, achieving objectives, and respecting the company's vision and values.
Work in collaboration with product managers and supply planners.
Support monthly S&OP meetings with Marketing, Sourcing team, Sales, etc.
Be a key player in the S&OP process.
Maintain excellent working relations with all employees and stakeholders of the company.
Participate in demand planning process improvement projects.
Perform any other jobrelated task assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Management or Commerce (Supply Chain Operations Management).
A minimum of 3 years' experience in similar functions.
Good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
Excellent knowledge and experience with data management software (Access).
Experience with inventory and warehousing management software (ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS).
Bilingualism (French and English) both oral and written.
Experience in the retail sector.
Experience in a similar logistics model.
