Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an IT Analyst to support our national teams.

The IT Analyst will report to the Manager, IT and Operations and will act as a bridge between the technical aspects of IT to improve business outcomes to maximize efficiency and reduce risk.


Working closely with the Manager, IT and Operations, Helpdesk Support and key stakeholders, this position will work with business teams to manage IT projects, promote and adopt IT and security best practices.


This position will assist in the design, testing and implementation of information technology systems, the management of GSuite, monitoring of live production environments and adherence to legal, compliance and regulatory requirements.

The IT Analyst will investigate solutions, current and new, for the organization to improve business processes and workflow.


This position requires occasional travel to our Helpdesk Office located in Mississauga and our Head Office in Toronto.

Accountabilities & Deliverables:


  • Monitor companywide information technology, network and computer systems to ensure delivery of timely and effective lT services
  • Oversee service level agreements with service providers, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and escalations
  • Ensure security of data and network access across the organization
  • Assist with the planning and execution of project work and tasks
  • Work with external contractors and service desk to resolve issues
  • Manage user access levels
  • Assist with the creation of IT related policies and procedures and ensure compliance with them
  • Research new technologies to determine their potential uses in the organization and recommend solutions when necessary
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of technology trends, industry standards, and best practices informing decisionmaking processes and strategies

Who You Are:


  • 3+ years of experience working in technical roles such as system administrator, helpdesk and technical support preferably in the education sector or nonprofit environment
  • Undergraduate in IT related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work with teams across multiple time zones
  • Project management, ITIL, and/or change management certifications are preferred
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Able to educate nontechnical audience
  • Strong GSuite Administrator console experience is a must
  • Working knowledge of network security and Google Workspace
  • Previous testing and evaluation experience with new technologies
  • Ability to analyze IT requirements and provide recommendations
  • Experience developing and managing projects such as upgrades
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Oversee routine IT maintenance tasks and inventory management
  • Manage changing and competing priority service requests
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required
