THE ROLE

The Arena Operator and Outdoor Facility Maintainer monitors the day-to-day operations of the facilities and sports fields' maintenance, as required.

They maintain grounds and playing area of facilities. They operate equipment, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered.

Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification.

Valid Driver's Licence (BC).

Recreation Facilities Association Certified Ice Technician (BC).

Experience
In operating and maintaining ice rink and outdoor sports facilities equipment.

In resource administration.

Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential, Bilingual an asset.
