MGA is looking for a driven, organized and talented individual to join our team as a Personal / Studio Assistant based full time on-site at our Vancouver, BC studio.

The role will support our Principal, Natalie Telewiak, and provide general support as needed throughout the studio. The role is based on-site at our office on West 3rd Avenue, a block away from Granville Island.

ABOUT THE ROLE:


This position executes a multitude of varied tasks and requires a self-directed, independent individual with excellent communication, organization, and time management skills who is both personable and professional.

We offer a generous benefits program, chef cooked lunches 3 days/week, and extra time off over the winter holidays, among many other benefits.

Additionally the compensation for this role is between $28-31/hour based on experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage and maintain complex schedules, including booking appointments and travel arrangements
  • Handle and update correspondence, communication, and contacts with confidentiality and clarity
  • Collaborate with the office team to support seamless daily operations of the Vancouver office. From time to time, there could be back up reception coverage needs to support other team members
  • Research and assist with lecture and presentation materials
  • Provide general administration support and budget monthly expenses, including assisting the finance team to reconcile monthly credit card statements
  • Liaise with other departments within the studio as needed (Administration, Communications, Business Development, Marketing, HR, Finance)
  • Run daily errands such as dry cleaning, mailing packages, coordinating deliveries, pet care, etc.
  • Provide back support for childcare needs
  • Managing a wide range of tasks and responsibilities which will vary everyday
  • Maintain a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality as appropriate

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Professional, confident, patient, and friendly demeanour
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Suites
  • Adaptable and willing to pitch in on a range of needs and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Exemplary judgement, initiative, and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workflow
  • Ability to travel internationally for workrelated lectures and meetings (valid passport)
  • Experience with childcare is an asset (any daycare or personal settings are an asset)


This is a full-time position - 40 hours per week on-site [8:30am to 5:30pm], however, this position requires flexibility to accommodate for the extensive travel schedules.
