The Junior Business Analyst supports the Business Analyst in various tasks and activities, such as daily, weekly and monthly statistics, as well as workforce management (breaks adjustments, holiday schedules, shift changes, etc.).

All the VCC statistics require multiple reports from various systems.

They are required to understand where we are, adjust to where we want to go, provide feedback to managers and agents, but they also all converge towards our yearly budget process, to ensure we gather all the necessary information on the current year's results to prepare the following year.


Responsibilities:

Report generation, production, analysis and presentation

  • Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly statistics combining data from various sources (Genesys, Reservia, Customer Feedback Form, etc.)for both VCCs, into multiple spreadsheets meant for various use and audiences (VCC management team, VCC agents, Yearly budget, etc.).
  • Update various Power BI reports.
  • Weekly trend and variance analysis.
  • Result presentation for management team.
Workforce management tasks and other activities in support of the Business Analyst

  • Forecast and schedule generation in Genesys Cloud.
  • Breaks adjustments in Genesys Cloud schedule.
  • Activity planning (including schedule discussions with managers if needed).
  • Holiday schedule planning Shift changes in excel and in Genesys Cloud.
  • Overtime requirements: analysis and request.
  • System configuration updates in Genesys Cloud.
  • Process and configuration documentation.
Creating new spreadsheets weekly, monthly, yearly, to prepare for new periods

  • Maintaining the reporting process uptodate, creating new spreadsheets to compile new data as time goes by.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in a related field (Administration, Business, IT, Cumulative bachelor's degree).
  • 13 years in a similar role.

Competencies:

  • Solid math skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools, especially Excel;
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities;
  • Contact Center experience;
  • VIA Rail tools, products and services knowledge;
  • Meticulousness and precision.
