Your daily mission at SCG is to receive deliveries, prepare and ship deliveries and complete all associated documentation.

About the Role:


  • Conduct scheduled inventory cycle counts and yearend counts.
  • Prepare freight and proper paperwork for domestic and crossborder shipments.
  • Prepare paperwork for receiving.
  • Offload and inspect received items for damage.
  • Receive items in SAP.
  • Update serial numbers in SAP.
  • Crossreference receiving with sales orders.
  • Inspect/pack/crate orders and prepare packing slips in preparation for shipping.
  • Call customers to arrange pick up.
  • Load and ship items.
  • Input tracking information in SAP.
  • Stock items received for inventory after labelling.
  • Filing documentation as required (Purchase Orders, Waybills, etc.).
  • Consolidate items for consolidated shipment on the hold shelf.
  • Track inventory tracking using the approved procedures.
  • Return purchase orders to vendors for repairs, RMA's, and project shipments.
  • Pick for production, repairs, etc. and track in SAP.
  • Clean the warehouse/shop areas.
  • Charge and maintain forklift.
  • Maintenance of daily inspection log for forklift.
  • Assesses backlog and take necessary action to remedy the situation.
  • Effectively organize the warehouse to quickly locate items.
  • Ensure compliance with all safe work practices
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:


  • 25 years of shipping and receiving experience.
  • Forklift experience required
  • Experience and understanding of WHMIS, WCB, First Aid, valid forklift ticket, material handling, and housekeeping
  • Working with ERP Systems such as SAP,Profit 21, Netsuite, SmartSheet and Sharepoint would be considered an asset.
