Shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Goals and Key Results:


  • Maintain data integrity within all Norquest databases.
  • Assist with data entry as required.
  • Communicate interdepartmentally to ensure data entry tasks are completed as per procedures.

Responsibilities and Key Tasks:


Internal Coordination - Data Integrity:

  • Data Entry, document control and records retention.
  • Provide/suggest opportunities for improvement throughout all departments and assist in implementing corrections.
  • Provide assistance with generating/revising QMS and department related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Provide training, when necessary, on new/revised QMS related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Administrative Support for all departments, and senior management.
  • Comply with all HSE, QMS and Corporate policies at Norquest.
  • Interdepartmental communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a Supervisor.

Internal Coordination - Reception and Office Management:

Assist Office Manager with tasks related to:

  • Reception coverage
  • manage and direct incoming calls, greeting visitors, etc.
  • Coffee machine refills/maintenance
  • Company communications posting communications on communication boards
  • Promotional materials coordinating, purchasing, inventory tracking, etc.
  • Event planning
  • Travel arrangements
  • Maintaining office organization and tidiness
  • Preparing for customer or supplier visits/meetings
  • Running some errands as needed

External Outreach:

  • Greeting visitors and callers
  • Possible coordination with suppliers, ex. researching/purchasing promotional items

Other:

  • Administrative support to all departments, senior management.
  • Comply with all HSE, QMS and Corporate policies at Norquest.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Core skills / Qualifications:


  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • High level of communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP system.
  • High level of computer and document processing ability.
  • Highly motivated and driven to stay busy.
  • Competent in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong teamwork ability.
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in an office environment or similar an asset. Ability to be versatile and adaptable.

Job Types:

Salary:
$42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
