The
Receiver efficiently receives, documents and stores all deliveries, contributes to general kitchen operations, is hospitable and cordial to coworkers and guests, and acts safely and responsibly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional hospitality to coworkers and guests as prescribed in our RESPECT Service System
Receiving of all Food and Beverage items, ensuring that the products received match invoices
Ensure the proper handling of invoices and documents
Receive and store food and supplies using proper food handling techniques including stock rotation and monitoring temperatures of perishable products
Assist with dishwashing, and delivering china and cutlery to catering vessels
Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and buffets or food stations
Assist in cleaning and organizing of hospitality storage areas
Maintain safety and cleanliness of kitchen and service areas; sweep and scrub floors, clean garbage cans with water, sort and remove trash placing it in designated pickup areas
Assist with food deliveries for catering operations

Requirements & Qualifications:

O.S.S.D. or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Previous cleaning experience preferred
Smart Serve Certificate required
Food Handler's Certificate considered an asset
Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential
Ability to deal with shifting priorities
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers
Must possess a service orientation actively looking for ways to help others
Will work for extended periods of time without sitting
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull, move or lift up to 60 lbs (27 kgs)
Will be required to be available for work on all major holidays
