ABOUT US

The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project is a fully integrated Joint Venture of United Engineers & Constructors, Aecon and Framatome, located in Kincardine Ontario.

SGRT is a part of the Major Component Replacement project and includes the removal of the steam generators at Unit 6, 3, and 4 and the installation of replacement steam generators with related plant modifications.

This project is part of Bruce Power's Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power's CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.

In addition to the existing contracts for Unit 3 and Unit 4, SGRT has signed a long-term Preferred Supplier Agreement for steam generator replacements at the plant's remaining units as part of the Bruce Major Component Replacement project.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Project Administrator (Co-op) will report to the Project Leadership Team and will be responsible for supporting with administrative tasks.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform administrative and clerical duties for the Project Leadership Team
Assist the directors and managers in tracking analysis and forecasting of ongoing projects
Maintain filing system for contract documents in accordance with auditing procedures
Prepare presentations and reports for directors
Maintain data compilation and tracking on key project issues
Coordinate the ordering of office supplies as required by directors
Perform all administrative duties and support for site
Provide reports to directors as required
Other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Currently enrolled in a business program or related study
Minimum 1 year construction experience considered an asset
Strong communication skills and initiative
Team player, flexible and able to work well with executive team members
Multitasking and work within time constraints
Punctual and dependable

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
