Compensation:
$35.80-$42.00/hr + 11.5% vacation pay, Union pension and benefits

Responsibilities:

Manage crew, equipment, and subtrades to cohesively complete a project
Collaborate with Superintendent, Project Management, and Clients to ensure all aspects of the project are completed as expected
Reading engineering drawings, coordinating the days tasks, and managing paperwork
Leader in health and safety as well as company culture
Planning for the work ahead and communicating requirements to Superintendent and Project Management
Working with the crew for all operations including earthworks, excavation, underground utilities, and surface work preparation

Skills and Experience:

5+ years of experience in Civil Construction in a similar role
Ability to lead, motivate, and promote growth within your crew
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Familiar with excavations, preparing sites to grade, and installation of sewer, storm, water, streetlighting, hydro, shaw, and telus utilities
Indepth knowledge of construction procedures, specifications, equipment, and OH&S guidelines
CCA Gold Seal, an asset
High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Effective verbal and written communication skills

Requirements:

Must have a current and valid Class 5 driver's license
Must be eligible to work in Canada
