Assistant Manager, Commercial Underwriting

Here is what a typical day looks like
- Provide guidance and coaching to your team, identifying a succession plan
- Define and communicate underwriting requirements, implement workflows and processes
- Consult with insurance companies, oversee authorization required for Insurance Division
- Liaise with insurance companies, acturaries, and surveyors for risk assessment and product development
- Continue selfdevelopment through industry and community involvement, training and other courses
The value you bring
- General Insurance Level 2 License required
- 5 years experience with Personal/Commercial Line policies
- Supervisory experience leading teams, preferably in insurance
- Involvement in industry related associations and your community
- Professional communication etiquette, both written and verbal
- Well versed in navigating multiple computer programs at once
