Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the Cloud Platform at RBC, building on leading-edge technologies, cloud-native development, and innovative cloud services.
Your role will be pivotal in not only ensuring the progress of the Cloud program team is known but also in championing the successful adoption of cloud technologies across our organization.
What will you do?
- Lead the execution of our hybrid cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and priorities.
- Identify opportunities to leverage cloud technologies to enhance business processes, improve customer experience, and drive operational efficiencies.
- Create roadmaps outlining key initiatives, timelines, and success metrics.
- Facilitating the assessment of business drivers that influence IT initiatives in Cloud, ensuring the alignment with overall business goals.
- Create compelling messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the value of our cloud technology solutions to target audiences.
- Lead the creation of marketing collateral, including case studies, white papers, and presentations, that effectively communicate the benefits and features of our cloud technology solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify business requirements, assess feasibility, and develop migration plans.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, cloud service providers, and industry experts to stay informed about emerging trends and technologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting experimentation, agility, and learning.
- Develop executivelevel presentations and reports to communicate progress, achievements, and challenges related to the digital strategy and cloud program.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (35 years) in a digital strategy, cloud program, or similar leadership role within the financial industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, such as IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud models.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies
- Strong understanding of digital transformation trends, strategies, and best practices in the financial sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing digital strategies to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a track record of leveraging data to drive strategic decisionmaking.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Project management skills, with the ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Nice-to-have
- Working experience in consulting, technology, or bankingrelated field
- Indepth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, technologies, and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google, OCP).
- Relevant certifications (e.g.
Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
