Bloor West Village Animal Hospital is looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic receptionist/veterinary assistant to join our team. We are a progressive and busy small animal hospital specializing in cats and dogs that has been operating in the west end of Toronto for over 14 years.
Requirements:
- A desire to work
- Loves animals
- Loves working with people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented, hardworking and a fast learner
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Word & Excel); Avimark an asset
- Previous Reception experience or experience in a health care setting an asset
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$16.00-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
