Job Title
Manager, FATCA/CRS Compliance (6 Month Contract)


What is the opportunity?


The role of Manager, FATCA/CRS Compliance is to provide Second Line of Defense (2LOD) governance and oversight over RBC's FATCA/CRS Compliance program.

In addition, ensure that program and activities are aligned with RBC's Enterprise Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Framework and supporting control standards and other projects as needed.


What will you do?

  • Support the Senior Manager in executing program governance activities including registration and deregistration of RBC entities, maintenance of RBC's FATCA/CRS database, contact list, management of internal FATCA/CRS attestation program, and execution of monitoring program in accordance with the FATCA/CRS Control Standard.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance and management of RBC's Enterprise FATCA/CRS governance program, such as updating, maintaining and managing RBC's Enterprise FATCA/CRS Policy and Control Standards.
  • Prepare senior management reporting on the status of FATCA/CRS compliance.
  • Support the establishment of training and communication strategies to ensure policy requirements and updates are wellsocialized and understood.
  • Monitor for emerging regulatory changes and ensure Compliance policies and standards are updated to remain appropriate and adequate.
  • Participate in collaborative stakeholdering discussions across the first and second lines of defence to ensure policy updates reflect regulatory expectations and prudent business practices.
  • Support the development of the program to align with expectations set out in RBC's Regulatory Compliance Management Framework and control standards.
  • Work closely and cultivate strong relationships with key functional partners, Corporate Tax, tax operations and law group as required in order to execute global FATCA/CRS program.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
years of experience in FATCA and CRS

  • University degree or professional designation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience at large, complex global financial institution or knowledge of relevant products
  • Experience of working in close partnership with stakeholders at various levels

Nice-to-have

  • Good understanding of global information reporting rules
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Strong ability to plan and organize own workload, and attention to detail and accuracy.
