Line Cook/prep Cook - Orangeville, Canada - St Louis Bar and Grill
Description
To prepare all orders correctly, efficiently and timely and to ensure that it is served at appropriate temperature.- Ability to follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Ensure product quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Have an understanding of cooking methods/procedures and knife handling skills
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm in a fastpaced environment
- Must be organized and selfmotivated
- Ensure a wellstocked work station and meet prep times to ensure a smooth working shift
- Maintain a clean work station area, including kitchen equipment, tables and shelves
- Comply with applicable sanitary, health and personal hygiene standards
- Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift and carry heavy material
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor, KM or GM
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
