Social Media Marketing Specialist
Are you passionate about social media and content creation?

Our marketing team is expanding and looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist to assist in the day-to-day management and coordination of the college's social media accounts.

He/She will help create and distribute content optimized for our social media platforms - with a focus on audience growth and post engagement.

The role will report to the Social Media Marketing Manager.

Major Responsibilities:

Create and implement social media campaigns that are in line with the college's brand standards and business goals including destination videos, Reels, IG Live, Facebook Live, TikTok, and others as relevant
Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and others as required) including community management for the purpose of increasing post engagement and follower growth
Write, edit, manage, and schedule social media related content
Create visual assets (e.g. photography, video) for social media using Canva and other tools
Attend key events/webinars (some events might happen on evenings or weekends as necessary) to generate social media content
Conduct campus tours
Keep current on issues, trends, technologies to implement new initiatives as appropriate
Other projects/tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, or equivalent combination; or education and experience
2+ years of experience in social media communications or marketing role
You are a master at creating engaging social media content for diverse social media platforms
You have a keen eye for design and are experienced with creative design software, simple video editing, photography, Canva, and digital content creation
You are passionate about writing engaging copy
You have strong organizational skills and are able to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines
You are knowledgeable about the latest social media trends and best practices
You can work both autonomously and as part of a team
You are able to analyze social media performance reports to optimize the content and grow followers and engagement
Familiar with Hootsuite, Canva and other design software
