Level 2 Dental Assistant - Guelph, Canada - Dawson Dental
Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental xrays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk
Skills:
- Dental receptionist experience, including knowledge of scheduling, insurance verification, and billing procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Ability to take accurate dental xrays
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members

Salary:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour
