On the job training

Responsibilities:

Operates crane in accordance with Safe Operating Procedures, SOP's.
Ensures the continuous movement of product through handStacking, discharging, packaging and the storage of finished parts.
Safely moves material with the use of a forklift/tow motor from the line to the hold/staging area.
Works in cooperation with the Operator and Shift Supervisor and references setup procedures to ensure material is safely loaded onto production equipment.
Uses forklift/tow motor to move scrap to designated dumpster area.
Operates bundle turner / pacman when parts require to be flipped.
Prepares packaging in advance.
Carries out setup duties as instructed by Operator
Performs all other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

General:

Complies with the designated ISO/TS16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines.
Ensures company safety policies are adhered to, and that all department personnel and visitors utilize safe work habits. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required at all times.
Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards.
Strives for continuous improvement.
