Responsibilities:


  • Operates crane in accordance with Safe Operating Procedures, SOP's.
  • Ensures the continuous movement of product through handStacking, discharging, packaging and the storage of finished parts.
  • Safely moves material with the use of a forklift/tow motor from the line to the hold/staging area.
  • Works in cooperation with the Operator and Shift Supervisor and references setup procedures to ensure material is safely loaded onto production equipment.
  • Uses forklift/tow motor to move scrap to designated dumpster area.
  • Operates bundle turner / pacman when parts require to be flipped.
  • Prepares packaging in advance.
  • Carries out setup duties as instructed by Operator
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

General:


  • Complies with the designated ISO/TS16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines.
  • Ensures company safety policies are adhered to, and that all department personnel and visitors utilize safe work habits. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required at all times.
  • Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards.
  • Strives for continuous improvement.

Education & Qualifications:


  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and/or 1 year or less of jobrelated experience. Certified in operation of Lift Truck.
